Who is the Website Update & Maintenance service for? Our Website Update & Maintenance service is ideal for websites that just need a one-off update, either to bring the site up to date or improve search engine rankings, or to install a new feature like a shopping cart or forum. This service will also suit websites that may require updating every now and then (for example 3 or 4 times a year), and for websites that need regular updating, for example to update news, articles or special offers on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
Our Website Updating & Maintenance service can be used for: - Removing old content from your site;
- Adding new content or images, or updating existing pages;
- Regular updates to your website, whether it's daily, weekly or monthly
- Submitting your site to shopping directories or search engines;
- Adding basic search engine optimisation to improve your search engine rankings;
- Arranging link exchanges with other relevant websites;
- Or any other updates or changes to your website that you may require.
How quickly will my website be updated? For the initial update, most updates are completed within a few days of receipt of the content and other information we require to access your site. Larger updates take slightly longer but we do try to get updates done as quickly as possible and will usually be able to give you a more accurate idea once we know exactly what is required. If you have asked for a continued maintenance service, then most updates after the initial update are completed within 48 hours of receipt of the content (and often the same day!). How many updates can I have? Initially we will agree what needs to be done straight away and provide a quote for that. If you need further changes to your site later on, we'll let you know long it will take and what it will cost. If you've opted for a maintenance plan, you can have as many updates as you like. You tell us what you want done and when you want it done and we'll arrange a maintenance plan around that. How much does it cost? As a guideline, on average one-off updates range from £50 for a very minor update to £200 for larger updates, but we will of course give you a quote for your specific requirements. Maintenance plans start at £70 per quarter for 3 hours work per quarter - the more work you require the lower the rate. |
